Do you have a maintenance contract?
The above pricing is based on month-to-month. I’m confident you’ll be happy with my performance. If you have any suggestions on things I could improve upon, I’d love to hear them. Yearly retainer contracts are also available for those wishing to save.

What type of sites do you support?
I work in PHP/MySQL and C#.NET/MSSQL framework environments. This includes WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, and custom C#.NET website applications. If you have a specific platform, please contact me and I’d love to see if I could help.

What if I go over my allocated hours?
I’m completely flexible. If you’re not always reaching your monthly limit, and then have a month with a high amount of changes, there’s no need to worry. If you need to change your plan limit, I’ll reach out to you letting you know what options we can take.

When and how will I be billed?
Billing occurs the day you sign up and the billing cycle reoccurs on the first of the month.

Is there a staging server to perform tests?
A staging environment can be set up to perform changes, updates, or modifications prior to releasing to production (your live server). Migrations are usually not a problem, but do depend on your production environment and configurations.

Do I Need Constant Maintenance
Many people think that designing a website is just a simple matter of writing the right code and then hitting “submit.” That might have been true in the old days when the web was more or less static and pages didn’t constantly change. But today’s internet is like a landscaping project. Once everything is built, it needs constant maintenance.

Just like how an untended lawn can go haywire, an untended website will start to sprout its problems — scripts not working right, sections of the page not talking to each other and other problems springing up. For websites, this sort of maintenance means applying patches, hotfixes, or adjusting the code to meet the new requirements of updated browsers. This helps to ensure your site will run at optimal speed and won’t be susceptible to hacks or malicious programs.

Back End and Front End?
Knowing your way around the various scripts and understanding that things can change at a moment’s notice is key to maintaining a website. That’s why, on the back end, I am well-versed in various scripting languages, and know how to update and enhance these scripts on your site as needed to help provide maximum performance. I work with PHP, MySQL, C#, MVC, MSSQL and can assist with WordPress, WooCommerce, Joomla, Drupal, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and more — all to help keep your website running at full optimization.

At the same time, the front end of your site also needs to be looked after. As HTML and CSS are constantly changing to keep up with the newest browser updates, you’ll need someone on the inside who knows what those changes and updates mean, and how they‘ll affect your website.
